Free Books For All, Can It Be True?

Yes, it is true, all of my books are now free in PDF format - and no longer available in printed format.

Why? Because I’m such a nice guy! No, Really - stop laughing! However you’ll notice there are no ToolBook 9 versions of these book (only 8.6 nd 2004). I’m trying to find the time to update them for version 9 but haven’t found the time yet.

New ToolBook Book

In the past months, I have been staging for a rewrite of my books for the most anticipated Blackcomb release of ToolBook. Prior to this time, I had chosen not to rewrite the Introduction to ToolBook Instructor 8.5 for ToolBook Instructor 2004 since at the intro level, there were no real changes that affected the lessons in that book. I had, however, wrote an Actions Editor/Simulation/HTTP post book for Instructor 2004. To be prepared for a smooth transition to Blackcomb, I have done a slight revision of the Intro to 8.5 book to bring it up to date with Instructor 2004 SP3. Likewise, a few minor edits to the Actions Editor book to bring it up to date for SP3. Another goal I had was to reduce confusion as to what books to order for those just getting into ToolBook.

Actions Editor Programming Cheat Sheet available

Have you ever wished you had a consolidated easy to reference guide of all the Properties, Actions, Functions, and Events offered by the Actions Editor? Well, this cheat sheet is for you. This is my first Cheat Sheet, but I do plan on creating more on different topics in the future. The information on the cheat sheet is printed in full color on an 8.5 x 11 laminated double-sided sheet of paper, and 3-hole punched so that you can put it in a binder if you like. What if you are using a version of ToolBook earlier than 2004? Is this cheat sheet still appropriate for you? Yes, nearly all of the information in the 2004 edition of my cheat sheet will still be entirely relevant if you are using en earlier version of ToolBook. [ Link... ]
