Managed Career Solutions Chooses Aspen to Streamline Learning Asset Management at “ONE-STOP” Employment Service Centers

Click2learn, leader in enterprise productivity solutions, today announced that Managed Career Solutions (MCS), a leading employment services provider, has chosen the Aspen Enterprise Productivity Suite™ to create a template business model for integrating and managing learning assets and partner-provided services at the Hollywood Workforce Center, one of over 200 One-Stop employment services centers in California. MCS and its partner Enhancement Consulting Group, which provides content and will oversee the rollout in Hollywood, ultimately expect to make the Aspen-powered solution available to more than 3000 other One-Stop centers across the nation. One-Stop Centers, which grew out of the Department of Labor’s Workforce Investment Act, provide a full range of public and private services that allow the unemployed and underemployed to re-enter the workforce or upgrade their existing employment status. Services include counseling, training programs, job placement, housing referrals and daycare, among others. Many of these services are provided by a network of partners, including government agencies, economic development, local universities, businesses and community-based organizations.

United Kingdom’s Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose Chooses Click2learn’s Aspen to Drive Merlin Helicopter Pilot Training

Click2learn, leader in enterprise productivity solutions, announced today that the Merlin Training Facility, part of the United Kingdom’s 824 Naval Air Squadron based at Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose in Cornwall, England, has chosen the Aspen Enterprise Productivity Suite™ to manage and deploy its 2500-lesson curriculum designed to support operation and maintenance of the Royal Navy’s new Merlin helicopters. Aspen will be employed in a variety of ways ranging from converting existing training to a Web-based format, to developing new content, to broad-scale learning management and training deployment. The Merlin Training Facility trains pilots, observers, air crewman and engineers to operate and maintain the Royal Navy’s new multi-role helicopter. The curriculum covers a range of career and professional training for personnel with varying degrees of aviation experience ranging from novices to experienced aircrew men and engineers converting from other Front Line helicopter types. The training curriculum is based on a central tenet of maintenance of flight safety and airworthiness. Aspen will allow the Merlin Training Facility to manage the curriculum in a closely configured environment in which real-world changes are flowed into the training system as soon as they occur.

Kern County, California Creates and Delivers Training and Certification to Staff and Agency Partners With Click2learn’s Aspen
